Anthem is a family of churches helping people find their way back to God. The Anthem family of churches is united around shared mission, vision, values, and submission to the Lordship of King Jesus. In our cities, we are working to obey Jesus in helping people find their way back to God.
All money given Oct 20–26 will go toward our Celebrate Generosity initiatives!
Come join the entire Anthem family of churches on Sunday, October 20th to celebrate generosity!
From day one, Anthem Church has wanted to do something unique to mark our anniversary. As much as we all love cake, we wanted it to be something that really expressed the heart of God. Each year, we celebrate by taking every penny that comes in for a week (Oct 20-26) and giving it away. ALL OF IT!
Where We're Giving
Each year, we designate churches and organizations that fall into one of three different categories: global compassion & justice initiatives, church planting, and local compassion & justices initiatives. The family of churches collaborate on the global and church planting initiatives, while each church identifies and works with their own local initiative.
The Reproducing Church
The south east cities of L.A. host some of the most densely populated and diverse communities in the whole country! There is more "Imago Dei" per square mile here than almost anywhere else. Gathering here puts us in the center of the cities that we love; cities we believe Jesus loves too! We wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
Kingdom Reality is a Gospel-centered, Spirit-led family that is on mission to multiply disciples, leaders and churches. We are a multicultural family that loves God and others.
Our Vision is to reach every city in LA with the Reality of the Kingdom of God here on earth as it is in heaven, by planting healthy churches! (Matthew 6:10)
GLOBAL COMPASSION & JUSTICE INTIATIVES
LOCAL COMPASSON & JUSTICE INITIATIVES
Each church has designated local compasson & justice initiatives to support.
Every year, hundreds of minors are identified as being trafficking in Los Angeles County. ZOE International has worked in this community for many years, serving on several anti-human trafficking task forces; providing support and services for minors who’ve been trafficked; and studying domestic trafficking in the USA. We have completed many challenging steps in preparation of opening a specialized home where we can serve children in Los Angeles who have been trafficked. One critically important step in that process was finding the right property.
The Center for Faith, Sexuality & Gender is a collaboration of Christian pastors, leaders and theologians who aspire to be the Church's most trusted source of theologically sound teaching and practical guidance on questions related to sexuality and gender.
Providing a transitional living center for homeless individuals and families in Ventura, equipping them to rebuild their lives for self-sufficiency.
Based upon Christ Centered values, we assist the homeless population of Ventura County, through transition and restoration to a status of contributing to society by embracing the model of loving our neighbor as ourselves.
Anthem Thousand Oaks
Child Hope Services exists to support and cover foster families and foster youths with the practical resources needed in the critical first moments of foster care placement, along with supporting their long-term practical and relational needs.
James Storehouse is a community based non-profit. We partner with local public and private child welfare agencies. James Storehouse fulfills emergency requests to expedite safe placement of babies and children and to assist aged-out youth as they transition. We have received commendations from Los Angeles County and Ventura County recognizing our service to the foster care community.
RaisingHOPE, Inc. is an organization that provides excellent advocacy, awareness, funding and support for children and families in the child welfare system (sometimes commonly called the foster care system).
Jesus is the most generous person who ever lived. He gave his life so that we might live.
