Hello.
You’re thinking about checking out Anthem Church this Sunday! First of all, “Welcome!” Second of all, I’d love to walk you through a Sunday so you can know what to expect when you get here!
When you get to either campus of Anthem, you can go one of two places. If you have kids, you can head over to the Anthem Kids check-in table and get your kids ready for a fun, secure day where they will learn Scripture, grow in their understanding of the character of God and get to know other kids in a Christ-centered environment.
If you don’t have kids or after you’ve dropped your kids off, you can head over to our worship gathering. On the way in, you’ll pass our Welcome Center. The Welcome Table is loaded with information about Anthem Church, ways to get connected and books that we recommend. After passing the Welcome Center, you’ll find our coffee area. We love to serve everyone with hot, delicious coffee and baked goods. You’re welcome to load up and bring it in with you!
Worship / Teaching
Once inside, look for an usher who will give you an Info Card. On that card, you can take notes, let us know that you were there, and get some info on what’s coming up soon. We try to start promptly at 10am with a few songs. We strive for high quality music that invites everyone to join us in offering worship through music to God. You’re welcome to sing with us, we put the song lyrics on the screen for you to join in. After a couple songs, our teacher for the morning presents a message from God’s Word.
We spent the bulk of 2012 studying the book of Luke, 2013 will be spent primarily in the book of Acts. In response to what God is teaching us, we continue our time of worship through music, giving and communion. Communion and giving are done without any pressure, they are available for you, but not expected. The whole gathering takes an hour and a half. We always encourage you to hang around for a few minutes and get to know some people.
Kids.
In Anthem Kids, our mission is to help kids find their way back to God, connect with others, and contribute to changing the world. We believe that kids have the capacity to walk intimately with God, and we love to see them learn about Him and connect with Him through Bible stories, songs, and crafts.
Students.
We are new and scrappy, but we’re trusting Jesus to do something amazing with Anthem Students. We’re here to help students find their way back to God. For more information on Anthem Students, you can find us at www.anthemstudents.org
