The Church is supposed to take care of one another.
In the Book of Acts, there is a glimpse into what the early church looked like. “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved. (Acts 2:42-47).
At Anthem, we intentionally attempt to connect the people in need with the people who have something to offer through our ministry called Anthem Acts 2.
WHO IS INVOLVED?
With where our church is at in life, we are only able to mainly focus on the needs of those who attend Anthem Church. If you attend Anthem, and know of someone who needs help in some way, we would love to see what we can do to help them out as well.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Right now, it’s a pretty bare-bones process. If you have a need, or something to offer, please contact us and we will do our best to get things taken care of.
WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE?
If you have any questions, need some help, or have something to offer, please email us at acts2@anthemchurch.org. Another avenue is to post your need on The City. If you’d like to be invited to The City, please email us at thecity@anthemchurch.org.
