I’m 33 years old (ouch). Kristen and I have been married for 13 amazing years using that time to produce four amazing kids: Andrew, Jeremy, Tyler, and our new baby girl Lily. We’ve been doing ministry together for over a decade and for 9 months we lived in Illinois, training to serve Jesus by reproducing His Church. I went to college at Biola University and seminary at Talbot School of Theology.

Whenever I get the chance I love taking my wife out on dates, hiking and snowboarding in Mammoth and reading (or at least listening to) good books. The Gospel has absolutely changed my life and I love being a part of peoples’ journey as they find their way back to God.

We have an opportunity to see a true transformation happen in Thousand Oaks, Camarillo and throughout Ventura County as people live out the mission that Jesus called us to. When that happens we are going to consistently see new Christ followers, leaders, community groups, campuses and churches. My dream is to lead this movement by teaching the truth about Jesus Christ and reproducing leaders like crazy so that more people can find their way back to God.

Sarah Coleman | Anthem Kids Campus Coordinator

Hello people checking out Anthem Church! My name is Sarah Coleman and I am the Anthem Kids Coordinator for Thousand Oaks and I wanted to share a little bit about me and my family!

I am married to a handsome Irish man and we have two beautiful, sassy and spastic kids Regan and Daniel. We have lived in the Thousand Oaks/Newbury Park area for over 10 years now and are blessed by the family, friends and community we have here. We are a family who loves to laugh! We also are a family who loves music, art, games and the beach. But what I really want you to know about me is this….

I am a child of God and I am overwhelmed by the love He has for us! He loved us so much that He sent His one and only son Jesus to die for us, because He did not want anything to keep us from Him! WOW! (I can not fathom this)!! So if you have not already guessed it, my heart, desire and passion is for every child to hear and know how much their God and their Creator loves them in a safe, biblical and joyful environment! I am humbled and blessed to get to be a part of what God is doing in the lives of these kids and their families at Anthem! So I sincerely hope to meet you soon!

Phil Zuch | Anthem Students Campus Coordinator

I’m 24 years old and getting married to the most amazing woman, Jackie. We both have huge hearts for students and a desire to help guide them through the super fun and always-awkward teen years. I have spent the last four years being trained and equipped at Eternity Bible College where my time is finally coming to an end.

I love to hang with my family and friends, kicking back watching sports, going on hikes, and pretty much playing any sport. God has flipped my life upside down and changed me forever. I love seeing Him move through His people and feel blessed to be a part of what He is doing here and now.

I’m incredibly passionate about seeing kids enter into a deeper relationship with God and become active members in His Kingdom. I believe that students are crazy awesome and can have huge impact in this world for his Kingdom.

Matt Lauahi | First Impressions Campus Coordinator

Hi! My name’s Matt Lauahi, I’m the First Impressions Coordinator here. I love working with you, our church body and couldn’t imagine life without Anthem.

The last couple of years have been probably my most exciting time. I came to Anthem back in 2010 and since then I’ve gotten engaged, and then married to my wife Michelle, I’ve apprenticed and stepped into tons of roles at Anthem.  I love meeting new people and I am stoked about all the new faces that God has seen fit to bless us with at Anthem.  I look forward to how he will continue to grow our church body and our teams all for his Glory!
